  • Ars Bioarctica -residency

The Finnish Bioart Society is in process of organizing an artist-in-residency program in the sub-arctic Kilpisjärvi, within Kilpisjärvi Biological Station. This residency will have an emphasis on arctic environment / on climate change / on aurora borealis / and other relating topics. This work is currently in process of finding funding.

However, in case a residency at the Kilpisjärvi Biological Station would support your project, and it is in the scope of fitting into the defined focus areas, and you are able to organize your own funding, you can write an application to: erich[dot]berger[at]bioartsociety[dot]fi

    The application should contain:

-project description with production plan and budget plan

-the (imagined) use of the biological station’s laboratory

    -the possible collaborators: scientists, artists…

-the wished time (dates/duration of stay)

-other wishes or requirements for the project realization
